Steven Dixon, MD, FACEP

Dr. Steve Dixon has been a fixture at Greene Memorial Hospital since 1987. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine for many years and provides medical direction for eight squads in Greene County. He has served on and chaired numerous committees. Dr. Dixon's interest in Emergency Medicine began during his undergraduate years, 1975 -1977, while he was employed at a Level I Trauma Center as an ER tech. He started the emergency medicine group at GMH in 1987. He was instrumental in the group's merger with Emergency Medicine Specialists, Inc. in 2012.
