Steven Joyce, DO


Dr. Joyce is a board eligible emergency medicine physician in Dayton, Ohio. He attended medical school in Missouri, completed his internship in Akron, Ohio, and completed his residency as one of the chief residents at Wright State University’s Emergency Medicine Residency. He also completed his wilderness medicine fellowship through the Wilderness Medicine Society. His medical interests include emergency medicine, pre-hospital medicine (EMS), tactical medicine, and wilderness medicine.

Dr. Joyce worked for a volunteer fire and EMS agency prior to medical school, which is where his interest in emergency medicine and EMS began. He holds his paramedic certification, works as a flight physician for a critical care transport service in Ohio, and runs the EMS curriculum for the Wright State University Emergency Medicine residency. He is engaged and has a daughter on the way.
