Brian Pennington, MD


Dr. Pennington completed his Emergency Medicine training at Wright State University/Wright Patterson AFB. He served in the United States Air Force throughout residency and was stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base following residency. During his time as a military physician, he deployed to Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan and completed additional training in Critical Care Air Transport.

Prior to joining Emergency Medicine Specialists, Dr. Pennington worked as faculty for the Wright State University Department of Emergency Medicine residency program. He completed a fellowship in Point-of-Care Ultrasound through the Ultrasound Leadership Academy and served as the ultrasound director for the residency program. He continues to pursue his interest in residency education, specifically ultrasound education, as Assistant Program Director and ultrasound director for the Grandview Medical Center emergency medicine residency.
