John R. Corker, MD, FACEP


Dr. Corker is committed to providing competent, compassionate care for his patients, and to strengthening humanism and empathy in the practice of medicine. These interests are highlighted in his award-winning medical talk show, Radio Rounds ™, previously featured on Dayton NPR affiliate 91.3 WYSO and airing to its international audience online from 2009-2018. Dr. Corker is a proud graduate of the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, and completed his Emergency Medicine training in the busiest ER in America at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX. He spent the 2012-2013 academic year completing a health policy fellowship with the American Medical Association (AMA) in Washington DC, and continues to hold numerous leadership positions in organized medicine at the local, state and national levels.

Personal:
Dr. Corker enjoys his work in Health Policy and Medical Journalism, spending time with family and friends, the outdoors as well as his beloved St. Xavier Bombers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
